There are so many fun things in the new Occasions catalog! This is just one of the Butterfly Thinlits dies. The set comes with 3 dies, one of which has a coordinating stamp that you can get. The Butterfly Thinslits and the stamp set, Butterfly Basics, are also available in a bundle to help you save money!

This card was made with Lost Lagoon card stock & Blackberry Bliss Card stock.  The designer paper, Irresistibly Yours,  is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and is one of the items you can choose for free with a $50.00 or more order. I used Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon & Pink Pirouette inks on the designer paper.  This paper is so fun because you can make it any color you want and still have the white embossing show through.

Shaker Cards

lg shaker

Another card inspired by Dawn Griffith.

Shaker cards are fun to make and receive. For the shaker pieces, I used Cherry Cobbler and Silver Glimmer Paper from Stampin’ Up!. I punched out the hearts with the new Confetti Heart Border Punch in the Occasions catalog.

I also glued some of the hearts inside the card.

The black card I used the In Color sequins for the shaker parts.

Crazy About You

This card was inspired by Dawn Griffith! She is awesome!

This “Crazy About You,” stamp set has 33 stamps in it! The central flowers and the “happy birthday,” are just a couple of them. The set comes with 3 images and 30 words that you can mix and match. The colors I used here are Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral.

The colors on this card are Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana. The background paper is from the sale-a-bration catalog. It has a resist pattern on it that can be colored any color you need it to be. Very fun!

January Paper Pumpkin Alternative

pumpkin heart large

January’s Paper Pumpkin kit was designed to make tags for cellophane treats bag which were included in the kit. Being a card maker I prefer to switch it up and re-purpose my kit to fit my style.

The kit contained enough supplies that I will be able to make several different cards. I will post them when they are finished. Thanks again for stopping by!

Some Thank You Cards

I love making 3″ X 3″ thank you cards for my customers. And they like it too! Here are a few I’ve made recently.

This one is Costal Cabana.

Crisp Cantaloupe and Tangerine Tango

Crisp Cantaloupe and Costal Cabana. These cards were inspired by Dawn Griffith.

Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding

Blackberry Bliss. I love this new stamp set…

These little cards are so much fun to make. I put a card and envelope in each order. I don’t sign them so that my customers can recycle them.

Lion Birthday Card

Inspired by Pinterest…

When I saw this card, I just had to make one. My nephew’s birthday was the perfect opportunity. It uses punches and fringe scissors. I only had 5 googly eyes, 3 small & 2 large. Thus the odd eyes. But I think they turned out cute anyway. What would we do without Pinterest?!

Foget Me Nots?

lg blue

This card reminds me of Forget Me Not flowers.
blue flower card

This was inspired by Connie Stewart. I love the blue! She also did a Christmas version that I love. A simple yet pretty card that can be made in just minutes with only a few supplies.

I added the blue scallops at the side just to change it up a bit.

Shaker Card

I have been stamping for almost 30 years and this is the first time I’ve made a shaker card. It was fun and easy. Next time though I would make a smaller opening because it took too many sequins. 😃

I used the Gold Soirée DSP. This paper is wonderful! I also used the Stampin Up! shaker frames (page 205) which made this project very easy. The first card opens from the bottom and this one opens from the side. Thanks for stopping by!

Starburst Card

This card was inspired by Dawn Griffith. It looks complicated to make but is actually quite easy. I used the Moonlight paper stack, Hello Honey and Whisper White card stock I also used the 1 3/8″ circle punch, 2″ circle punch and Starburst Framelits. The stamps are from the Hostess set “Hello There.”

This is another version that I made. For this one I used the Gold Soiree DSP. This is beautiful paper! It has the feel of a glossy magazine page only thicker. It’s hard to describe but it feels very rich. And the colors are gorgeous! I used Garden Green as my background layer and Pistachio Pudding for the medallion layer. I also added some pearls.
